He was predeceased by: his parents, Don E. Jester and Hazel M. Hill Jester. He is survived by: his wife Deborah J. Swiggett; his children, Starlene Woods (Bradley) of Oak Hill and Kim W. Townsend Jr. of Oak Hill; his grandchildren, Taylor Woods and Achilles Townsend; his great grandchild Brighton Kennard; his brother Rickie Jester (Shirley); his nephew Erick Jester; and his great-niece Faith Jester.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
