He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Campbell "Cam" and Margaret B. Schilder (Grothe); and his niece Kathleen M. Gittrich. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph W. Schilder (Rosemary) of Sunbury, OH, Elise Gittrich of El Paso, TX and Charity; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Jeanne M. Schilder (Randy Motz), Dr. Diane E. Schilder, Kristen Strong (Daniel), Kurt J. Schilder (Debra), John D. Schilder, Albert E. Gittrich, Peter C. Gittrich (Jennifer) and Gregory C. Gittrich (Michelle).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be private.
David was passionate about education; therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bishop Flaget School, 570 Parsons Ave., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
