He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cassel and Esther Fraley Cassel; his son Thomas W. Duckworth, Jr.; and his brother James L. Cassel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret L. Sweet; his children, David L. Duckworth of Chillicothe, Anita Lynn Cassel-Newman of Chillicothe, Michael D. Cassel (Lisa) of Chillicothe and Lori A. Hunter (Richard) of Chillicothe; and his siblings, Dewey Cassel (Linda) of Chillicothe, Joseph D. Cassel (Velma) of Chillicothe, Imogene Marcum of Chillicothe, Vivian McKenzie (Benny) of Jackson and Julia Davis of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
