He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald O'Dell and Dorothy O'Dell (Murch); and his brothers, Charles, Roger and Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Janes; his children, Todd O'Dell (Larene) of Chillicothe, Andrea McKnight (Jason) of Stoutsville, Sarah O'Dell and Zachariah O'Dell (Briana) of Ashley, OH; his grandchildren, Brendan, Gabriel O'Dell, Emily Gearhart and Mikaela Mettler (Nate); his children, Ruth, Abigail, Eian McKnight, Wesley and Ariah O'Dell; his great grandchildren, Archer Gearhart and Maddox Mettler; his siblings, Donald O'Dell, Jr. (Marta) and Marilyn Black; and his sister-in-law Jacky O'Dell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
