He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Dora Mae Zempter (Jones); his wife Edith Gaylene Zempter (Irwin); and his siblings, Pearl Zempter, Jane Parsons, Paul Zempter, Ed Zempter, Phyllis Harlow, Don Zempter and Sharon Dummitt.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Zempter (Terrie), Christy Zempter (Laura Harrison) and Teresa Corcoran (Doug); his grandchildren, Jennifer Entler (Brandon), Andrew Zempter (Tayler), Corey Zempter, Casey Zempter (Iraís García Rivera), Kyelle and Gabe Corcoran; his great grandchildren, Maddie and Kate Entler; and his sister Margaret Zempter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to NCR Hospice, 2245 North Bank Drive, Columbus, OH 43220.
