He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart P. Austin and Grace Austin (Keel); and his siblings, Hobart Austin, Jr., Russell Austin, Harold Austin and Norma Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Byrd; his daughter Deanna M. Austin of Chillicothe; his siblings, William Hill of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Howard of London, OH and Lavetta (Ron); and his cousins, Lucille Lee (Bill) of Chillicothe, Nedra Valentine (Dana) of Chillicothe and Christina Duncan of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
