He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Tuyle and Cornelia Van Tuyle (Griswold); his wife Patricia Van Tuyle (Bilby); and his grandsons, Charles Allen, Daniel James Van Tuyle and William "Sonny" Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Van Tuyle, Jennifer Van Tuyle, Jeanna Phillips (Jim) and Jackie Brown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
