He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar W. Thacker and Margaret Thacker (DuBois); his wife Mary Ann Bolte; and his brother Earl Thacker. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Schmitter (Kurt) of Hilliard, OH; his grandchildren, Dustin, Nicole, Jeremy, Aric, Chelsea and Holly; his sister Betty DeLong; his sister-in-law Shirley Bolte; and his brothers, Hershel and Garr. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
