He was predeceased by : his father Dale Oyer. He is survived by : his wife Teresa L. Dalrymple; his children, Jeremiah Oyer of Chillicothe, Michael Oyer (Amanda Miller) of Chillicothe and Amanda Oyer (Virgil Hurley) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Gavin Jones, Peyton Jones and Michael C. L. Oyer; and his siblings, Joe Oyer of Chillicothe, Larry Oyer of Chillicothe, Alan Oyer (Brenda) of Columbus, Deborah Parker (Larry) of Chillicothe and Diana Rinehart (Chuck) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
