He was predeceased by: his sister Chelsea Messer; his uncle Ted Long; and his grandparents, Junior Long and Lenna Burton. He is survived by: his parents, Anthony W. Messer, Sr. of Chillicothe and Peggy Loomis Messer of Chillicothe; his wife Sharlene Ritterbeck; his daughter Sophia Messer of Chillicothe; his aunts and uncles, Brad, Julie Long of Chillicothe and Robin Loomis of Columbus; his stepchildren, Matthew Kibbey (Brianna Estepp) and Krystiana Kibbey; his stepgrandsons, Jordan Tyler and Grayson Kibbey; and his friend Garret O'Dell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the WARE FUNERAL HOME to help the family.
