He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Loreen Mizek (Robert), Mark (Laura), Stephen "Teo" (Peggy) and Janeen (Jennifer); his grandchildren, CJ, Olivia, Chase, Stephen, Samantha and Ryan; his sister Karen Vedder (Richard); his nieces and nephews, Lisa Aufmuth-Bica (Salvatore), Virin Veddar (Kristie) and Vanette Vedder-Furney (Chris); and the mother of his children Janet Pirosko.
