With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandy M. Voigt (Chesterland, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, David and Amy; her sister Marie (Phil Meltzer); her niece Thea; her parents, Christopher Piunno and Dorothy LaScola; and her husband Col Richard H. Voigt. She was also cherished by many cousins, friends.
As she in her later years became a fierce lover and protector of all the beautiful creatures we share Earth with, please consider donating in her honor and memory (in lieu of flowers) to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in upstate NY; a safe haven and sanctuary for abused, neglected, and escaped farmed animals.
