Richard P. Pillar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 78, Richard P. Pillar (Chesterland, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Brendan (Elizabeth Kenney) and Caroline; his grandchildren, Maxwell and Margot; his brother Michael (Jeanne); and his siblings-in-law, Judy and Andrew Moodry.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeJohn Funeral Home & Celebrations Center (12811 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
