He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson P. Palmer and Florence Palmer; his grandson Nicholas Sass; and his siblings, Florence Quinn (late Hugh), Dolores Doell (late Fran) and Robert Palmer (late Mary Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon E. Palmer; his daughters, Elaine S. Newell (David) and Kim Palmer Sass (John); his grandchildren, Michael Kobe and Jessica Gilbert (Phil); and his great grandchild Lewis Gilbert.
