We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2023, at the age of 79, Mariam Maureen Langer (Chesterland, Ohio), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mariam Maureen Langer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Mae and Henry Arthur Boose; her husband Robert Langer; and her sister Sandy Monteferrario (John). She is survived by: her children, Mari Genell Sturm (Jeff) and R. Stephen Langer (Jessica) of Hoschton Georgia; her grandchildren, Tyler Langer, Jackson Langer, Bri Sturm and Megan Greco; her boyfriend Larry Hilliard of Greensboro; and her brother Thomas Boose (Abbey).

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Randolph County Honor Guard, Post Office Box 1672, Asheboro, NC 27204.

“Mariam went to high school with my sister, Janet Hogan. She faithfully kept in touch with my sister over the years and visited her in nursing facility prior to her death in 2019. I met Mariam only once but we exchanged cards and emails. Her unflagging kindness to my sister meant so very much to Janet. I just recently wrote Mariam an email expressing my appreciation. I didn't know she was so sick as we talked not long ago and she never let on. I extend heartfelt condolences to her family.”
