With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence J. Swaney of Chesterland, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Robert; his granddaughter Stefanie Stastny; his parents, Lawrence and Helen; and his brothers, Robert and William.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Kay"; his children, Linda "Sue" Clough (James), Lawrence Jr. (Mary), Deborah Edelman, Michael and Sharon Sweigert (Rick); and his grandchildren, Brian Clough (Allison), Gregory Clough (Jalaja), Scott Clough (Sangeeta), Trina Swaney, Lindsey Ramsey (Carl), Shaun Swaney, Marcia Bailey (Jason), Michelle Ovsenik (Nicholas), Ron Sweigert (Shannon) and Aimee Sweigert. He is also survived by his family and friends.
