He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Simbartl and Marie Simbartl; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Karel J. Simbartl (Loretta) and Karen Fantozzi (James); his grandchildren, Katerina DiFranco (John), Anthony Fantozzi (Kiley Blazek), Jennifer Simbartl, Marine and Nicholas Simbartl; his siblings, Vaclav and Jan; and his sister-in-law Susan Leonard.
