It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Beclay of Chesterland, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Petronela Becla and Jozef Becla; his brother Michal; his half-sister Maria; his wife Sally Cikra; and his children, Margy Beclay Ross (Scott), John Beclay Jr. and Andy Beclay (Sue). He was also cherished by grandchildren.
Remarkably resilient and determined, he lived a full life well into his advanced years but could not manage one last escape from COVID.
