He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman James and Agnes Batteiger; and his brother Thomas Batteiger. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Calvo Batteiger; his son Michael (Marie); his granddaughter Mia; and his siblings, Elaine Stiglic (late Jon), Mary Lynn Roberts (Lawrence), Midge Fatheree, Joan Marie Sorensen (Bruce), Madelon Batteiger, Timothy, Joseph and John Batteiger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
