He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Powell and Marjorie Carelton Powell. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. (Fernandez); his sons, Richard, Michael (Becky), Steven (Jenni) and Kenneth (Sara); and his grandchildren, Jeanette Brunsdon (Bernard), Samantha, Morgan, Sydney, Daniel, Itzamna and Lily.
