She was predeceased by: her spouse Nicola; her parents, Eva Ruta and Luciano Ruta; and her brother Guido Ruta (Lina) of Naples, Italy. She is survived by: her daughters, Luciana Skillicorn (Ronald), Claudia Fatica, Barbara Fatica and Nicolina Ciricola (James); her grandchildren, Alessandra (Jason), Laurén, Christopher, Nicolas, Tristan, Belina, Emilia, Bisnonna of Calvin, Giovanna and Nico; and her brother Aldo Ruta (Dian) of Lewiston, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice.
