She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lucas and Marie Harris Lucas; her daughters, Rita Goins, Lorena Lucas and Rose Dalton; her siblings, Charlie Lucas, Harry "Joe" Lucas, James "Archie" Lucas, Jenny McCune, Maxine Dansby, Martha Lucas, Blanche Hill and Sharon "Minnie" Alexander; and her grandson Allen Goins.

She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Lucas (Melinda) of Chesterhill, Joann Mayle of Canton, Viola Ruth Flowers of Stewart, Verna Mae "Belle" Thompson of Chesterhill and Mary Evelyn "Ann" Thompson of Plantsville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
