He was predeceased by: his children, William Sr. (Linda), Thomas (Paula), Arthur (Karen) and Joseph Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Terry Seiffert (Nikki), William Jr. (Amy), Heather Nightingale (Jason), Jeremy (Shiying), Jocelyn Caffarel (Thomas), Janelle and Joseph Sprinzl III; his great grandchildren, Gino, Nico, Lena, Vaughn, Ingrid, Madelyn, Emily, Alexander and Catherine; his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Richard and Rosemary Colak.
He is survived by: his wife Lena (Schadenfroh).
