It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Paul Ickes of Chester, Ohio, who passed away on August 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ickes and Ida Ickes; his wife Doris Lowe; his children, Randy (Mary) and Sandra; and his siblings, Jim, Janet Kline (Bill) and Betty Phillips (Homer).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon of Green Valley, AZ, Steve (Renee) of Mansfield, TX and Rick (Cathy) of Avon Lake, OH; his grandchildren, Kristi Garrison (Nathan), Kyle Ickes (Becky), Ben Ickes, Amy Kaylor, Katie Breckbill (Devin), Jeff Ickes (Emily), Tim Ickes (Mia), Anara Ickes, Lacey Ickes and Salaya Ickes; and his sister Lois Nolletti (John). He is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
