He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred "Millie" T. Zicari; his parents, Peter Zicari and Tresa Zicari; his grandson Dylan Sheneman; his sister Annette Massiello; and his son-in-law Will "Moe" Sheneman.

He is survived by: his children, Lexine Zicari-Sheneman, Peter Zicari, Charissa Zicari, Gina Owen (Robert) and Charles Zicari, Jr.; his grandchildren, Austin Battles, Collin Battles, Alexa Sheneman, Jeffrey Pausch and Hayley Pausch; his sister Elisa Vitolo; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Haycox.
