It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billie L. Heigley of Chester, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Elizabeth Evans. She is survived by: her close friend Wendell; her children, Cindy, Dale and Jonathan; her grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Madison, Leta, Isaac, Joshua, Mary, Sarah and Isaiah; and her sister Carol Gillinov (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She later went on to become a Registered Occupational Therapist, and retired from the Cleveland Clinic before going back to work in many area nursing homes during the COVID Pandemic. Many family members and colleagues thought of Billie as a COVID Hero.
