She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Jane Boggs and Walter Dickens; her siblings, Walter Dickens Jr. and Tamara Dickens; and her daughter Devon Rush.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar; her sister Carolyn Dickens (Edgar Rush); her daughters, Tarlie Robinson, Ashley Rush and Pierson Rush; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Kelley, Marcellus, Samuel and Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help cover final expenses.
