She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald Stephens and Carol Day Stephens; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Burns; and her sister Carolyn Myers. She is survived by: her husband Harold "Hal" Burns; her children, Michael Burns (Elizabeth) of Huntington, WV and Melissa Taylor (Benjamin) of Homestead, NC.; her grandchildren, Ian, Zoey and Lily Burns; and her great grandchild Zelda Burns.
