With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Edwin Grimmett of Chesapeake, Ohio, born in Man, West Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyatt Grimmett and Sylvia Akers; his stepfather Lewis Akers; and his brothers, Jimmy Grimmett and Cordell Akers.

He is survived by: his wife Angie Curry Grimmett; his son Jason Cyrus (Monica); his grandsons, Joshua and Jayden Cyrus; and his siblings, Ricky Grimmett (Brenda), Ronnie Grimmett (Pam), Tom Akers, Darrell Akers, David Akers, Aaron Akers, Phyllis Keipke, Mary Bostic, Cindy Akers and Liz Akers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
