She is survived by: her parent Inez Thacker Eaton; her sons, Ronald G. Smith (Alice) of Winston-Salem and John S. Smith (Susan) of Chesapeake; and her grandchildren, Ryan Gene Smith (Amy) of Arnold, Jason Murle Smith (Jill) of Crimora, Jeremy Eaton Smith (Kylie) of Centerburg, Gary Michael Smith (Donna) of Coal Grove, David Samuel Smith of Marietta and Leslie "Cate" Smith of Hibbing. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
