He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Behm and Edna Hall Behm; his brothers, Kenneth and Robert Behm; and his granddaughters, Ashley, Amanda Cottrill and Anna Bruch.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Keirns Behm of Chauncey; his son Richard L. Behm Jr. of Logan; his stepson Tom Messenger of Chuancey; his daughter Melissa Thompson (Marion) of Logan; his adoptive daughter Christina Behm of Toledo; his stepdaughters, Deanna Parsons of Chauncey and Sandra Bruch (Scott) of Athens; and his sister Carol Behm Helber of Logan. He is also survived by eight grandsons; two granddaughtrers; four great grandsons; two great granddaughters.
