James Leonard Lyons Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leonard Lyons Sr. of Chauncey, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Theodore and Dorothy Gillespie Lyons; his wife Loretta Lyons; and his brothers, Dick and Larry Lyons.
He is survived by: his sons, James L. Lyons, Jr. (Tiffany) and Tim Lyons (Kellie Lockard); his grandchildren, Tim W. Lyons, Jeff Lyons, Anthony Lyons, Crystal Byers and Loretta K. Lyons; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Elijah, Orion, Devon, James, Alexis, Brayleigh and Hope; his siblings, David Dale Lyons, Janet Wion and Mary Snow; and his close friend Sally Hines.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Chauncey Dover Lions Club.
