He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Fridolin and Amalie; his brother Donald Friedel; and his daughter-in-law Rosemarie. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Christina Dunning (Ronald) of Chardon Twp, Michael Friedel of Hambden Twp, John Friedel of Chardon and Ryan Friedel (Elizabeth) of Concord Twp; his grandchildren, Aaron, Devin, Brittany, Emily Mowen (Nick) and Megan; his great grandchild Cooper; his brother Arthur Friedel (Alice); and his sisters-in-law, Marge Friedel and Vi Fierman (Lee).
The family suggests donations to the Hambden Fire Department 9867 Old State Rd, Chardon, OH 44024 or The Church of St. Mary, Chardon.
