It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Kovacic of Chardon, Ohio, born in Claridon, Ohio, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony C Kovacic; and her siblings, Josephine Graham, Mildred Kirbish, Florence Clemson, Mary Holzman, Frank, Joseph, John, Emil, Clarence and James.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony E. (Kathi) and Thomas (Jacky); her grandchildren, Amanda Bonnett (Shawn), Abigail Kovacic, Sarah Kovacic, Bethany Kovacic and Benjamin Kovacic; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Bonnett. She is also survived by her 11 brothers and sisters, her 5 grandchildren, and her great grandchild.
At only 94, Rose Marie's sharp memory, quick wit and love of life were no match for her brief battle with COVID-19. She spoke with family and friends on the phone, said her goodbyes, and told them not to come into the hospital to visit because she did not want them to contract the Coronavirus.
