He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Shaw and Eileen Ruth Shaw; and his brother John E. Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Susan Shaw; his children, Kelly Shaw of Athens, OH and Robert M. Shaw; his daughter-in-law Catherine; his son Stephen Shaw of Cleveland, OH.; his sister Susan Bedore of St. Petersburg, FL; and his siblings-in-law, John Mikolaj (Vi) of Ashtabula, OH, Marcia Mikolaj of Middlefield, OH and Janet Taylor (Mark Bartram) of Parker, CO..
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home & Cremation Services (116 South St, Chardon, OH 44024). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Mary-Chardon (401 North St, Chardon, OH 44024).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made in Rob's memory to a charity of your choice or to St. Mary School, Adopt-A-Student Scholarship.
