He was predeceased by: his parents, John DelMonte and Marge DelMonte. He is survived by: his wife Lillian DelMonte; his children, Kimberly DelMonte (Ron Rohlke) and Mark DelMonte; and his granddaughter Sophia Rohlke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church-Chardon (401 North St, Chardon, OH 44024). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church - Chardon (401 North St, Chardon, OH 44024).
