He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mason and Anna Welker (Spotts); his brothers, James, Charles and Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Ila Welker.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Welker (Fisher); his daughters, Lisa Shields (James) and Cynthia Kriz (Edward); his stepdaughter Frances Molek (Stephen); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jenny, Julia, Kyle, Jamie, Jesse, Melody, Katherine, Isaac, Edward and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, LouElla, Kyle, Theodore, Caden, Liam and Emmett; and his sister Peggy Elder (Robert).
As Paul was a lover of all creatures from kittens to raccoons to anything that needed saving, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Geauga County Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty, OH 44072.
