She was predeceased by: her son Scott Simmons; and her parents, Ernest Sylvester and Mary Sylvester. She is survived by: her children, Amy Deaver (Greg) and Deedra Simmons; her grandchildren, Gavin, Austin Deaver, Nicholas Simmons, Jenna, Lexie, Victoria and Kira Voelker; her great grandchild Nora; and her brother Joseph DeSylvester (Christine).
