We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John D. Fay (Chardon, Ohio). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie (Cook); his son Daniel; his parents, Harry and Carole; his stepmother Elizabeth; his siblings, Leslie Fay (Susan Ditty), Julie Ball (David), Mary Baumgarten (John), Martin (Traci) and Carrie Stewart (Derrick); and also Charlotte Sgro.

He will be greatly missed.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Jack to Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072.

“Jack and i are cousins and were in the same grade growing up. Although we did not see each other often or later in life, in particular, i will always remember his laugh and sense of humor. He enjoyed life and was known to pull pranks from time to time. The good news is that he is now joining his aunts and uncles including my parents and his parents (and step parent) in heaven. To the fay family, on behalf of your cousins, the petersen's we pass on our sympathy jack, enjoy eternal life.”

“Please accept my condolences.I, too, was a college roommate of Jack’s, and for 2 summers, his partner(really hired hand) in his landscaping business. During those times, including a few ill advised road trips, we became close friends, and I got to see his great sense of humor, strong work ethic and knowledge about many topics ( although I did grow weary of hearing about Carl Jung.) As withJohn Pap, life happened, but I always remembered our friendship and good times. Thanks for those memories.”

“Jack was my brother from a different mother. We were roommates in college and were together on many backpacking trips in the Rockies fishing trips in Ontario and road trips to nowhere. Although distance and family responsibilities separated us in our adult years, the memories of our years together remain as fresh in my mind as when they were made. I continue to regale our 7 kids with”Jack” stories reliving his unique sense of humor. My life was enriched by knowing you my friend.”
