He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sibling Beverly Sue Peck (Robert); his brother-in-law Randall Doubek; his nieces and nephews, Glen, Veronica Peck, Thomas and Chrissie Tekavec; his godsons, William Zaffiro, Jr. and Jim; and also Taylor Tekavec.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jim to Hospice of the Western Reserve, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Geauga County Rescue Village, or Tunnel 2 Towers.
