He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Nellie; his wife Irene Lawton; his brother-in-law Lawrence Tucker; his sister Linda Lawton; and his sons-in-law, William Judd and John Mader.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Judd Bell (Scott) of Andover, OH, Suzanne Mader of Chardon, OH and Jerry Lawton (Ruthann) of Norwich, NY; his grandchildren, Amy Callahan, Keri Morris (Brian), John Mader, Kelly Kimball (Alex), Rebecca Lewandowski (Dustin) and Brennen Lawton; his great grandchildren, Kobe Callahan, Kaiden Callahan, Karson Aldridge, Caleb and Blake Lewandowski; his siblings, Sharon Amato, Marlene Gould and Richard Lawton; and his sister-in-law Anne Tucker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
