He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward V. Long and Vora Wellman Long. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his son Reid Wellman (Cindi) of Burton; his grandsons, Brandon Haycox (Courtney) of Painesville and Jacob Haycox of Burton; and his great grandchild Henry Holden Haycox of Painesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Heart Association or the Coolspring Power Museum-Endowment Fund in Ellis's name.
