He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert and Norine; his sisters, Joan Wolf (Jim) and Ruth Vernick; and his grandson Joshua Fanti.
He is survived by: his spouse Lyn; his children, Glen Vernick (Amy), Missy Rein (Terry), Kimberly Krance (Donald), Brian Vernick (Tricia) and Julie Hunt (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Joel (Rachael), Jessie (Matt), Jacob, Terry Lee (Laura), Timothy, Zachary, Kristina, Jessica, Dakota and Hope.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeJohn Funeral Home (126 South St, Chardon, OH 44026). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Freedom Alliance Church (9892 Old State Rd, Chardon, OH 44024). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 9891 Old State Rd #989, Chardon, OH 44024.
