It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann (Kangas) Thornton of Chardon, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal and Martha; her husband Gilbert Thornton; and her grandson Deven Tommer. She is survived by: her son James Tommer (Susan) of Chardon; her sister Sandra Kangas of Sun City, CA.; and her close friend Cindy Hennessey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
