She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin; and her brother James Montville (Jackie). She is survived by: her children, Susan Sroub, Margaret Chevako (Peggy) and Brian Sroub (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Brittany Widner, Robby Widner, James Chevako, Marcella Chevako, Katharine Sroub Martin and Jackson Sroub.
She tested positive for COVID-19. Carole graduated from Notre Dame College on the dean's list and earned her bachelor's degree in English and History.
