With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Harmon of Chandlersville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Harmon and Rose Marie Harmon (Webber); and his brother Ed Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Thaila Z. Harmon (Sheppard); his daughters, Vera Hook, Lucy McCallister (Matt) and Melinda Noel; his stepsons, Jason Dunn and Chad Dunn (Heather); his sister Martha Harmon; and his fishing buddy Jeff Gannon. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
