He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Goodman and Dorothy Goodman (Bryant); his son Christopher; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Goodman (Stegeman); his children, Raymond Goodman, Ted Tehensky, Danny Goodman and Stacy Hatfield (Alan); his grandchildren, Raymond, Nicholas, Anna, Maxwell, Logan, Alexandria, Victoria and Christopher; and his sister Marjorie Ambrose (Richard).

Memorial contributions in Dr. Goodman's name are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
