He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia M. Schmitz; his parents, George Schmitz and Emily Schmitz; and his siblings, Thomas Schmitz (Bonnie), Chuck Schmitz (Debbie) and James Schmitz. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
