We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, Mary G. Hobbs (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Hobbs (Jack); her son Jeffrey Hobbs; and her parents, Everett Glazier and Margaret Glazier. She is survived by: her child Jody Hayes (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Jack, Elizabeth and Valerie Hayes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (95 S Franklin St, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Federated Church (76 Bell St, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Mary's memory to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072.
