She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holman and Allegra Holman (Ahl). She is survived by: her husband Bruce Sterling; her children, Mark Sterling and Sue McKay; her son-in-law Brian McKay; and her grandchildren, Ingmar Sterling, Onya Sterling, Morgan McKay and Sydney McKay.
